Brynn Alder was having a bad month. After a long search for her missing sister, she discovered that her sister had been turned into a werewolf, and the man responsible was now after Brynn. After they were rescued by a local pack, Brynn wanted to be turned also, so she could protect herself. Would her new bodyguard help her, or will Brynn be forced to fend for herself? Will she be able to protect herself when a crazy alpha comes after her?

Joe Mitchell knew he found someone special when he rescued Brynn and her sister from the crazy werewolf who had kidnapped them. Unfortunately, he had been burned by a woman before, and had no desire to repeat the experience. So, when Brynn asked him to turn her so she could protect herself, he didn’t know what to tell her. When Brynn’s enemies return, will Joe be able to protect her? Will his growing feelings be allowed to develop?

As a continuation of the RED ROCK PASS series, SANCTUARY LOST is an excellent read. This book is best read as part of the series, not as a stand alone, because there is a great deal of the back story that will be unclear to a new reader. The secondary characters add a depth to the story that helps make it much more memorable, because the important ones are emotionally linked to Brynn. The plot is fast paced, with a great deal of action, as well as a good deal of very spicy romance between Brynn and Joe. This was a great story!
