Snowfire - Her Winged Mates

Sheridin Jocoby is in need of a change of scenery and bird-sitting for her friend Josh provides the perfect opportunity to ‘get away’ and regroup.  It’ll just be her and three snowy owls - should be a fairly uneventful few days – or so she thinks.

Once Sheridin lets herself into Justin’s house she spots the large cage with the impressive birds all comfortably sitting on a large branch.  They’re much larger than she’d expected them to be and their talons certainly let you know that they may be beautiful but they are dangerous.

Sheridin notices a note that had been left for her and assumes that it contains further instructions.  She gets a chuckle out of the names of the birds and how they came by their names.  What she finds odd is the owls are all male yet Josh specifically told her that the owls are part of a special breeding experiment.

Mast, Maze and Mason don’t wait long before making their presence and intentions known.  Before Sheridin’s even unzipped her suitcase she hears flapping and a strange trill but before she can investigate and ensure that the owls are safe she finds herself in the company of three very large, naked men – one with wings.  Sure Justin said the owls were part of a breeding program but did he neglect to mention that the program is supposed to include her?

WINGED MATES is a cute and exciting story that mesmerizes the reader with the thought of shape-shifter owls and an erotic encounter with a human woman.  There’s something infinitely exciting about how Ruth D. Kerce brings these characters to life and yet leaves you wanting to know more about this unique situation and how a future between them would work.  Ms. Kerce writes in several different genres so you’re never sure just where her next story will take you.
