When a child is kidnapped in California, Kari shows up to help. But, she’s not the only one on the case. FBI Agent Nick Murdock is also there. Nick is an attractive, formidable man — the type that gets what he wants.

Right away, Nick suspects there is something different about Kari. Mysteriousness surrounds her. Still, he cannot deny how alluring he finds her.

Nick challenges Kari in everything. He will even push her to tell him her secret. Not even her sister knows that Kari is a werewolf. Can Nick convince Kari to let him into her confidences? Will he be able to handle her secret if she does tell him?

SOUL MATE is an enjoyable read. I found myself wanting to know more about the characters. I was disappointed when the ending came entirely too soon. I will definitely look for more books by Catherine Bybee.
