Gwyn had just left from visiting her grandmother and was on her way to work when the storm hit. With the rain coming down in sheets she didn't see the deer until she was right up on it causing her to swerve off the road hitting a tree. With her car stuck in a ditch it looked like Gwyn was going to have to walk back to town in the rain. When a police cruiser pulled up Gwyn was expecting to see Rick the officer who normally patrols the area. Gwyn was shocked when instead of Rick in the patrol car she sees the gorgeous Trooper with eyes so green they reminded her of the hills in Ireland.
Trooper Aiden Loughlin's father always told him that he would know when he met the right woman, sparks would fly. Aiden didn't think his father meant literally but that is exactly what happened when he met Gwyn. Every time he and Gwyn touched, no matter how slight they both felt an electrical jolt that neither could ignore. Could Gwyn be the woman Aiden's father was talking about? It is definitely something Trooper Loughlin will have to investigate further.
SPRING STORM is part of the Surge line from Phaze publishing and it definitely brings on the heat. Kelly Maher has combined intense characters, steamy passion and a touch of the paranormal creating a unique story that is sure to please. SPRING STORM is a fun read that I would highly recommend. Kelly Maher is an author that I will be looking to read more from in the future.
