Christian Carter is an archeologist and shop owner. His job is to hunt down and bring back artifacts from all over the world. Christian loves his work, and is always looking for his next adventure so when Brandon walks into his shop he is instantly intrigued. He soon realizes he is in for the most exciting ride of his life.

 

Brandon and Christian set out to find a sacred statue that can grant a person’s deepest desire. Brandon values his companions experience and knowledge. Each man has his own reason for wanting the statue but both are determined to succeed in their mission. As they travel further and further into the jungle, neither man can deny the deep attraction he feels.  

 

THE COLLECTOR 9: THE LOST TEMPLE of KARTTIKEYA by Laura Baumbach is an exciting thrill ride. This story is reminiscent of an Indiana Jones type adventure. I have always been a fan of this type of story and I wasn’t disappointed! There is a strong sense of excitment and mysticism that runs throughout the book. I love the heroes in this novel. Christian’s confidence is incredibly sexy and I had no trouble understanding why Brandon finds him irresistible. There is also a magical element to their romance that made it even more believable for me. The love scenes between Brandon and Christian are electrifying in their heat and intensity. This novel is certainly one that I will be reading again soon.
