Lyon Dejon is sworn to protect those who come to him. He follows the old way, he summons his bride. Would she come? Others before had been summoned but denied it and never came to the island. He would need to be careful; if she came, he must control the mating lust of the beast. He must not scare his promised bride.
Sandy, Tira's friend, is also feeling sexual tensions and must concentrate on her conversation with Tira. What is going on with these two women? Have they abstained from sex for too long? Who is the intended bride? Sandy is full of optimistic dreams of finding Mr. Right.
Sandy, Tira and Lyon, three people with sexual tension. What pair will be fulfilled? Who is left wanting? Who will accept Lyon's heritage?
Ms. Dane certainly knows how to please a shape shifter lover like myself. THE MIDAS BRIDE had a great plot, was written fluidly, and had a grand adventure, along with touches of romance at a heated level that pleased this reviewer. The crowning glory for me is that it also had that magical touch that drew me into the story as a silent companion. I thoroughly enjoyed my interlude with Lyon and his mate. If I could have, I would have given a ten.
