Kara Staten has opened up a new skincare salon called Bare Essentials.  The salon offers various all-natural skincare concoctions along with massages and manicures, etc.  Kara has just come up with her moneymaking serum that she calls “Take a Bite out of Love”, which in theory, makes you irresistible to the opposite sex.

Mark Brodeur is Kara’s new fiancé.  Mark has a secret he’s hiding from her though; he’s a vampire trying to pass as a human.  The only problem with that is Kara’s new Love Bite serum is affecting him in a bad way.

Kara is confused when Mark starts acting odd and running off for weeks at a time.  On top of all that, she’s dealing with the press and the police because apparently her new serum is causing people to give their significant others love nips on the neck.  At one point, Mark finally pages Kara and asks her to come see him in an hourly motel because he’s sick.  Will Kara come to Marks rescue after all he’s done to her?

I absolutely loved HARMONY!  MG Braden did a beautiful job of weaving a very interesting story with the perfect amount of vampires that all paranormal lovers crave.  The chemistry between Kara and Mark had me enthralled, hoping that the two lovers ended up together in the end, despite their obvious differences.  The story flowed extremely smooth all the way through; considering there were weeklong gaps at a time, you didn’t even realize it!  I will definitely be watching for more books by MG Braden.
