Elishiba, daughter of the Emperor of Aleem, becomes betrothed to Emperor of Karseedia, in an attempt to promote peace between the two countries. Unknown to Elishiba, Karseedia's ruler is a weak man that is under the complete control of his evil mother, a greedy woman that seeks to gain control of Aleem.   

Two men have been sent as delegates to prepare Elishiba for her arrival in Kareedia. Amshazar is one of these men. He has many secrets and an agenda all his own. Amshazar plans to help Elishiba awaken her power in preparation for the battle to come. Elishiba finds herself falling for this man that she does not know, and wonders if she should trust.

Amazhar has been sent to guide and aid Elishiba in her goal. He is a mysterious man of great power and he will help Elishiba to recognize the power that is hidden inside of her.

Evil reigns in the city of Kareedia and plans are being plotted that place Elishiba in danger. Suspense builds as things begin to go wrong. I could only hope that the awakening magic that Elishiba was discovering is strong enough to fight against her powerful enemy. It held me spellbound, awaiting the outcome. This fascinating magical romance is filled with exciting surprises. UNVEILING THE SORCERESS by Saskia Walker is full of great suspense and exciting action that made this book one that everyone will want to read.
