Helen Roston, going by the name Hell, is an operative for COMCEN, a highly structured military branch determined to create the perfect soldier. By using a combination of drugs, psychic links between operatives and their trainers, virtual reality and hard-core physical training, Helen has turned into a super-soldier. After one more set of tests, in which she will be connected psychically to her trainer, Helen should be all ready to be approved for action. The virtual reality test will be Helen’s biggest challenge though, for that is where she will meet her trainer.

Hades is Hell’s trainer. He is trained to hold onto Hell when she is using her psychic senses in a mission. None of the rules say that he can’t have a little fun with this vixen during virtual reality training. Ever since Hades laid eyes on Hell, he hasn’t been able to get her image out of his mind. Will his feelings for Hell result in disrupting their training? Hades doesn’t seem like he really cares. All he wants is to train her well enough to survive and for the first time in his life, keep this woman as his own. He’ll do anything to make that happen.

VIRTUALLY HIS is a combination of psychic attributes, virtual reality and hot and steamy sex. Is the sex real or is it all in their minds? Gennita Low was a surprise for me. I have never read one of her books before and, I must say, I was extremely impressed. VIRTUALLY HIS is a book that makes me think of what our government and military will be like in fifty years, very high tech. It was kind of frightening really. Gennita Low did a superb job at making the characters and the virtual reality aspects seem so real and understandable. When I first started reading this story, I was scared to death that I wouldn’t be able to understand the technical lingo, but readers, don’t fret. Ms. Low makes everything very understandable and the story just flows from the first page. I couldn’t put the book down. I had to find out exactly how far Hades was going to take his relationship with Hell. And, maybe more importantly, how far Hell was willing to let it go. These were two very strong and dominant characters who each wanted something for themselves both out of the trainings and missions, and each other. The sex scenes were smoking between the two. They just set the pages on fire. I cannot wait to read another book from Gennita Low in the near future. I hope all of them are such great surprises and I’m extremely glad I took a shot on VIRTUALLY HIS.
